About Me
I graduated from Wright State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I worked at a community agency as a Case Manager for two years helping children and their families become more stable and independent. It is this work that led me to where I am now. As I worked with children and their families, I realized how mental health issues affected so many areas of life. I found that I was doing as much counseling as I was case management. As a result, I began to pursue a degree in Counseling.
I graduated from Wright State University in 2003 with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. I obtained my Professional Counselors license in 2003 as well. While under clinical supervision, I learned a great deal about ways to utilize counseling skills and strategies to help people heal, manage their difficulties more effectively, and move forward.
After completing two years of clinical supervision, I obtained a Professional Clinical Counselors license in 2008. Since February 2008, I have been practicing independently at a private office in Kettering Ohio.
I truly enjoy what I do. It is my hope to be able to assist clients with their difficulties, so they can look forward to a more balanced and joyful life.
